ISCMMGH is Now a Level 2 Hospital

Ilocos Sur Cooperative Medical Mission Group and Hospital is now accredited as a Level 2 Hospital. After complying with the requirements as ordered by the DOH, an ocular inspection was done by representatives of DOH and ISCMMGH passed the requirements.

The new status of the cooperative will now allow the operation of it's Dialysis Unit, Operating Room, Delivery Room, Laboratory, Radiology Unit and the nursery.

A dinner with Mr. Joe Viorge and company of DOH was also graced at the Cordillera Inn in Vigan City as the the staff of ISCMMGH joyously received the certificate of accreditation last September 12, 2012.

Vigan City Turns Over 1M pesos to ISCMMGH

As promised by the city government of Vigan of giving financial assistance to ISCMMGH, the 1-million-peso amount has finally turned over to ISCMMGH last September 11, 2012 during a meeting with Hon. Eva Medina, city mayor, at the Vigan City Hall.




Meanwhile, ISCMMGH will be catering for the needs of the indigent patients and senior citizens of the city in return.

ISCMMGH 15th Founding Anniversary Successful

The celebration of ISCMMGH's 15th Founding Anniversary was successful held last August 18, 2012 at the new hospital building in Tamag, Vigan City.

It was attended by some guests, members of the cooperative, representatives from the JTC group of companies and from the City Hall of Vigan.

The event was opened with a mass. The highlight of the anniversary is the handing off of the 1 million-peso financial assistance of the city government of Vigan for ISCMMGH. Due to some circumstances, the city mayor Hon. Eva Medina wasn't able to attend the program. Hon. Lourdes "Lulu" Baquiran came in as representative of the city mayor.

A lunch was served after the program. A free medical-surgical mission was also offered to patients.

10 Patients Received Free Cataract Surgery at ISCMMGH

10 patients from different parts of Ilocos Sur were given free Cataract surgery during a medical mission initiated by the staff of the ISCMMGH as part of it's tradition in giving community service every time the foundation day of the institution comes.

Dr. Rolando Vermudez shared his precious time for free in giving hope for these patients to again enjoy their vision for the better.

Meanwhile, Dr. Cajigal also took charge of a free minor surgery. The Operating Room of ISCMMGH was first utilized in that medical mission.
