ISCMMGH to offer Free Cataract Surgery for Indigent PhilHealth Patients

Ilocos Sur Cooperative Medical Mission Group and Hospital continues to offer quality services that are affordable to all types of patients. 



In view of this vison, indigent patients who are holder of government-sponsored PhilHealth cards can now avail a free cataract surgery.

Dr. Rolando Vermudez, ophthalmologist shall perform the surgery to qualified beneficiaries.

Dialysis Unit is now PhilHealth Accredited

ISCMMGH Dialysis Unit is now accredited by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC). Patients who are undergoing dialysis treatment can now enjoy the benefits of PhilHealth thus alleviating their burden.

PhilHealth benefits for patients undergoing dialysis treatment is packaged to 45 sessions worth 4,000 pesos each session.

ISCMMGH Dialysis Unit is open daily from 8am to 5pm. Resident nephrologists are Dr. Judith Ragaza and Dr. Rhea Amore Quilala.

ISCMMGH Hails New Set of Board of Directors

In the most recent general assembly of ISCMMGH held last April 2013, a new set of Board of Directors has been chosen. The chairmanship has been handed over to Melquiades Rosario, MD, previously the Vice Chaiman.



Meanwhile, Antonio Agustin, DPA, landed to the position of Vice Chairman. The directors elected are the following: Edna Rabena, MD, Manuel Cajigal, MD, Maura Gonzales, MD, Floro Daniel Perlas, M.A.Ed, Salvador Eder, Ed.D. and Maura Gonzales, MD. Francisco Macanas is the newest member of the board while the term of Michael Martin Baccay, MD as a director is still active, thus, no need for reelection.
